So today was “The Most Epic Battle of the Century”. It’s just a giant, slightly organized game of capture the flag/kill the king/last man standing, but it’s a lot more fun than it sounds. 

I was part of the blue team, and decided to dress up like Finn. 

It was a lot of imaginary violent fun.

So tomorrow, my school holds “The Most Epic Battle of the Century (Part 3)” and I will be participating in it as part of the blue team, as Finn. 

Seeing as I’m an overzealous nerd, I had to make a Jake shield, because I’m Finn and why not? 

My dad helped me with the construction, and my mom with the design, but I did all of the painting and some of the construction. 

Don’t worry. I have a Finn hat and a sword to match. 

But anyways, I figure you’d all enjoy the progression of awesome.

So uh I was trying to accomplish a Korra-like hairstyle but well idk…didn’t turn out too horrible I think…but then again I did have to attempt to give myself bangs. :P

So um, my bestest friend would make a killer Korra you guys.

This Week In Photos

Alright, so um, this week was actually a really good week for me. A lot of fun stuff happened, which included: Dying my hair, getting my first ever batch of merch (AND HAVING FRIENDS WEAR THAT MERCH!), going to a sixth grader’s party (brother of a friend), and performing a really good performance. Not to mention meeting my grandma’s new dog.

Swim

The second song I played for this church fundraiser was Swim by Jack’s Mannequin. I can’t figure out how to cut the intro out, so sorry for the overbearing christian bit. Remember that I’m in a church, and I usually wouldn’t introduce a song like that. 

I’m not as happy with this one as the other one. :c

I Will Follow You Into the Dark

So um, I played at a church fundraiser last night (Sakura Matsuri, as you can see) and I played two songs. 

The first of which was I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie. I really was happy with this performance, actually.
